A native of Minnesota, Rosalind Bonsett studied art at the
Minneapolis College of Fine Arts. She spent her junior year abroad
studying at the Accademia De Belle Arte in Florence, Italy. She
continues work and study in various art forms and techniques, including
painting, pen and ink drawing, printmaking, and photography. Inspired by
the artist Robert Rivera, Bonsett began painting gourds in 1994. Since
that time, her unique pen-and-ink style, which incorporates intricate
abstract geometric designs, has earned a number of awards. Rosalind now
resides with her husband in Beverly Hills, Florida.
